This web site is dedicated to the proliferation of the Art of Wing Chun Kung Fu.
The Chinese characters used for Wing Chun, “Eternal Springtime” and “Praise Springtime” are slightly different however both are used to describe the fighting art of Yim Wing Chun on the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and around the world.
There are as many different families of Wing Chun, Wing Tsun, Ving Tsun etc. as there are Romanisation spellings; all are correct and are used at the discretion of the particular Wing Chun family.
Kung Fu is a process of self growth. It develops the practitioner physically, mentally and philosophically.
The martial element is but the vehicle through which it operates. “Kung” means energy or work and “Fu” means time. The two characters refer to the constant work over time necessary to produce a result.
The physical and mental challenges posed in Kung Fu teach the practitioner many lessons about the Art and themselves.
There is no room for compromise in the pursuit of excellence.
Physical training develops the body while the mental development heightens self awareness.
